About the Game

Necro Nancy – Nightmare Mode Demo is a fast-paced 8-bit vertical shooter for the NES. Play as Nancy, a witch who fights against waves of monsters from cursed portals. Blast through hordes of ghosts, skulls, pumpkins, and eyes as you fight to claim the highest score!

Built from the ground up for real NES hardware, Necro Nancy combines classic arcade challenge, tight controls, and retro horror atmosphere.

This special Nightmare Mode serves as a standalone demo for the full game currently live on Kickstarter. The full game features multiple themed stages, unique environments, deadlier weapon power-ups, boss battles, and expanded gameplay (such as portals which must be destroyed to progress). Nightmare Mode is simply an endless survival version, a never-ending demo of monsters and mayhem designed to test your reflexes and endurance.
