So sorry to disappoint - but yes the illustration is AI, the rest of the layout is by me. We had very limited time to put the demo together and wanted something quick for the competition. When it becomes a full game we will be looking into commissions for both the boxart and the music (by humans).

The game looks very promising, and the idea of a shooter with a very zoomed out perspective seems novel, so I will definitely be following the development!
No way, it's important to know what people care about. Getting a real artist on board will elevate the project. There's a couple of people I will be asking but on the lookout for artist suggestions.
